Megan Howarth- Founder of Bump and Glow

Meet Megan

Megan began her journey into doula work after the birth of her first son. Inspired and excited by the idea of supporting families during their pregnancies and births she began her work in 2011. Trading the late night world of restaurant management for waking up in the middle of the night for clients was a thrill! After 5 years as an independent doula Megan began to build a team of doulas to help support more clients. Her focus is now on leading her team and helping women and families prepare and navigate the world of birth, babies and parenting.

Her trainings include:

  • Motherwit Birth doula
  • Pro Doula trained doula
  • Nourri Source Marraine
  • Homeopathy for Birth with MICH
  • Nutrition for Pregnancy with LMU
  • Babywearing Level 1 with CBS
  • Rebozo for Birth with Gena Kirby
  • CPR with Jessica West

Megan is on a mission to make sure that mothers are well supported, that families have the resources and tools they need to succeed as parents, and to help make the journey easier with less judgment and more love.

When she isn’t answering client emails and teaching prenatal classes, she’s writing, raising her two boys with a feminist twist, and sipping on microbrews.
